2018 Caterina's Syrah

Deep garnet in color. The nose is dark floral and fruit with a hint of herbs – raspberry, fennel seed, violets. A delicate balance of earth and spice.

This Syrah is smokey, savory, earthy, and meaty.  Dark berries take hold of the mid- palate followed by ripe plum and smoked jerky with a cherry infused black tea finish. There’s a hint of tartness showcasing the tannins – just enough but not mouth puckering.

Our favorite thing with Caterina’s Syrah is grilled Swiss Sausage.  Bring the pair to a BBQ and you’ll become a legend, much like Caterina herself.
