2021 Gazzaroli Zinfandel - 3 BOTTLE LIMIT
An homage to a strong young woman from Casto, Italy who broke the traditional bonds of the time, traveling alone across the Atlantic and the breadth of the United States. She became the driving force behind two of the most recognized Zinfandel vineyards in California: Benito Dusi Ranch and Dante Dusi Vineyard. Caterina Gazzaroli - my great grandmother, matriarch of the Dusi Family, and creator of many of our Family Traditions.
There is no doubt that Gazzaroli Zinfandel is a 50/50 split of Dante Dusi Vineyard and Benito Dusi Vineyards. It harbors all of the features of these unique and interesting wines. Its color is deep and opaque. The nose pops with mixed berries and herbs. Its super smooth mid-palette is full of dark fruits. The balance of fruit, acidity and tannins create a bright boysenberry finish.
