2018 Paper Street The Narrator
50% Mourvèdre, 25% Syrah, 25% Grenache
This one is all butter. The Narrator is like driving a Ferrari on a mountain road.
Fig on the nose, with soft tobacco. Take a sip and you’ll taste luxury in a glass. Silky smooth. The Mourvèdre – well, it’s badass. Heavy, imparting the meatiness of this wine that will coat your whole mouth and excite every taste bud. This one is perfect for an evening hanging out in lounge chairs with friends and a charcuterie board. You’ll finish the bottle before you know it and reach for more.

Vinous - 92 Points, 2018 Paper Street The Narrator
Saturated ruby. Ripe, smoke-accented black and blue fruit and licorice scents reveal a hint of florality. Weighty and broad on the palate, offering deeply concentrated cassis, cherry-vanilla and fruitcake flavors that verge on decadent. A core of juicy acidity keeps things in line and adds energy to a long, spicy finish framed by dusty, steadily building tannins. 40% new oak.

The 2018 Paper Street Vineyards The Narrator has a deep ruby color and ripe aromas of baked plum and pie fruit with notes of wildflowers and exotic spices. The medium-bodied palate is sleek, supple and floral, with bursts of freshness elevating the spicy finish.
