2020 Zinfandel Magnum

2020 was a great vintage – the acids and brix (sugar) were at the right balance at the right time, and we knew when picking this would be a great one. We didn’t get a lot of rain that year, so the fruit was very concentrated.
The wine has up front fruit with a slightly pepper, dry finish.
We taste a hint of tart cranberry with spice – the perfect balance between jam & pepper.

Vinous - 92 Points, 2018 Dante Dusi Zinfandel
Inky purple. Ripe, expansive cassis, cherry and vanilla qualities on the spice-accented nose. Broad and fleshy on the palate, offering bitter cherry, dark berry and floral pastille flavors that show no rough edges. Smooth, even tannins lend shape to a long, smoky finish that features lingering spice and dark fruit notes.
